Today is THE DAY!!!

The day that marked the end of my 3 years of University journey. The day that i officially graduated from the class of 2009. The day that i officially became the alumni of NUS.

Today was an exciting and happy day!

Up..Up..Up The Highlands

8-10th June 09

Day 1

up to Cameron Highlands with wh and his family. We set off early in the morning at 7am. Reached Yong Peng for dim sum breakfast before we hit the highway towards Ipoh. It was a long journey. We stopped at Bidor for lunch which kept us waiting for an hour cos it was too crowded and the wait wasnt very worth it for some of us. After lunch, we set off to Cameron Highlands. Driving up the winding road was tough and it was a rocky and dizzy way up. Thanks to wh's daddy who drove us all the way up, feeling stressed and all. Despite the rough journey up, along the way the scenery was very pretty. And when we reached our apartment, everyone was tired and hungry. After unpacking and taking some photos of the nice view from our balcony, we went to "The Big Red Strawberry Farm" and pasar malam there. It was near evening then and the weather was turning cool. The wind that blows onto our faces was cold like air-con. Took lots of pictures of the pretty flowers, vegetables and strawberries at the farm just before it closed. Bought alot of food which was meant for our dinner at the pasar malam. I love the fried sweet potato balls, fried mushrooms (golden needle mushroom, abalone mushroom and the normal xiang gu) and the jagung which can be eaten raw! We didnt go anywhere at night, just stayed at the apartment and slacked. Super cold at night! We have to wear shoes/socks inside the house cos the floor was tooooo cold. We could see the moon and the stars from our balcony. Sounds romantic hor? but it's not just me and him la. there's his younger sis and bro. haha.

Day 2

Made breakfast ourselves. Using the vege we bought the night before to make salad. healthy. haha. Had sandwich too. After breakfast, we set off to the BOH Tea Centre in the morning. The view there was magnificent! We could see mountains and mountains of greenish tea plantations, plus the blue blue sky and the white cottony clouds. The pictures taken over there are like one of those landscape wallpapers we found on the net! i'm not exaggerating ok. Went up to the cafe there to have tea and some cakes. Enjoyed the scenery and breeze there. Sitting there, i was thinking how nice it would be to have a house up there. haha. Dreaming dreaming. Anyway, we also went to see how the tea we had was manufactured. A few procedures are involved - plucking the tea leaves, crashing them to get the juice out, the leaves is then dried and crystallized until it turned brown/black like the tea leaves we used to make tea and then the leaves is sorted out for further flavouring. Next, we tried to find a farm to pluck strawberries but most of the strawberries farm was closed cos there were too many people there to pluck previously since it's the holidays so there wasnt many red strawberries left for us. sad. So we went to visit the water cress farm, butterfly farm and by then it was already evening. We went back to wash up and prepared to go for our steamboat dinner.

Day 3

Last day. We checked out before 12. Went up to a temple just a distance up from our apartment. Then we headed to the Big Red Strawberry Farm again to try their strawberry sundae and waffle and fried ice-cream which we didnt get to try the first day! Sweet plus sour plus fattening whip cream. BUT...yummy! Then on the way down Cameron, we visited the Bee farm and another BOH tea plantation. At this tea plantation, we get to climb up one of the hill which was 174m to the top. The climb was worth it as from the top we felt like we were on same level or higher than the clouds. We even saw an eagle soaring in the sky. Of cos, we took some pictures there! So, that was the last stop before we headed down the Highlands. Next on our list was a waterfall. We took some wrong turns trying to find it. When I first saw it from a distance, i was overwhelmed. It was the nicest and biggest waterfall i've seen. not artificial de lo. "WaH~~~hen mei!!!" was the only thing that came out from my mouth. haha. Little incidents happened there while we were happily climbing up the slippery rocks of the waterfall. i shall not mention it here la. We found a restaurant at Bidor for dinner and finally we headed back to kluang. 5hours of driving on the highway. Poor wh. Everyone was shagged when we finally reached at 130am.

That's the end of our trip. Truly enjoyed myself. Been to a new place and tried some new food and saw beautiful sceneries and landscapes! Thanks to his mummy for planning everything. (:

I made it!

finally i decided to write an entry for my blog since i haven been blogging for so looong...just feel very lazy.

now my everyday routine is to check my mails for any suitable jobs and then send my resume. at the same time i'm looking for a parttime too. my bank account is depleting and i'm trying to go out less until i manage to get a job, full time or parttime. my parents dont give me pocket money ever since dunno when, so i only survive on the money i earned from parttime jobs during the hols and those our generous government gave.ha..plus i'm so bored at home la. yet i wanna save money! SIAN.

Checked my results just now. I successfully graduated! though not with very good CAPS but somehow am still glad i made it.

the last weekend went to Kukup with a group of friends. it was fun and relaxing. Kukup is actually a fishing village located at Johor. We stayed in a house rented from a very nice uncle. it's like a chalet. We sang our hearts out with the karaoke system there, took lots of artistic photos, enjoyed the very beautiful sunset, folded paper boats and let it float out into the sea with our dreams on board, had a nice time BBQ-ing, got the advantage of viewing some mini fireworks from our neighbour, drank by the sea and despite the clouds that covered the night sky which should have been filled with stars, we enjoyed one another's company, talking cock till after midnight. The next morning a simple and heart-warming breakfast was prepared for us. After checking out, we went for a tour in one of the kelongs and headed for our seafood lunch at the jetty. Overall, i feel that the people there are all very nice. must be the environment. they lead such carefree life there. a suitable place for retirement i think. they fish for a living and have their homes rented out to visitors like us. they do earn a lot from what seems to us like a simple lifestyle. After the kukup trip i accompanied wh back to kluang. Went around to eat and to the new shopping mall there. And was on the train back on tuesday evening.

Now back home to boredom and daily routine.

终于啊！

五月七号考完在NUS的最后一张试卷！一踏出考场的那一刻，我是充满兴奋与期待。

在国大的三年就此来到了尾声。

其实前一天考完最后第二张试卷时，当一位朋友跟我说了一句话，让我突然间有一丝丝不舍的感觉。我在想也许我会想念与朋友们一起上lecture,tutorial,一起做project等等，但我绝对不会想念mpsh.哈哈。

在还没继续找工作之前，该是享受一下下人生的。毕竟如果找到了，一做就是最少十年吧，一想到这个事实就纳闷。感觉上好像还没够成熟，还没准备好似的。好了，这些就别想太多了，顺其自然就好。

我想现在每天闲着，不是出门就是在家玩game看戏。可是我喜欢这种无所事事的日子，因为这种日子剩下不多了。哈！

那些在筹备着毕业旅行的朋友们，虽然我是有点嫉妒你们，但还是要祝你们玩得愉快哦！记得记得我的手礼啊！嘿嘿。

Last lecture of the Last semester

It just feels kinda weird..like what geek said "肚子感觉怪怪的，应该是舍不得的感觉". Everybody is like - so fast 3 years liao hor. graduating liao leh. This journey that has allowed me to gain knowledge and skills and most importantly allowed me to make great friends whom i'll treasure for life, is going to end in a few more weeks. Then, like everyone else, i'll ask myself "now what? jobless man!!!" I'll be classified as an underclass. haha. good luck la.

anyway, one random thing. do you believe in fate? Becos recently my parents went to ask this shifu about "the future" - like how will my job be la..how will my marriage be la..will my life be good in future la. Well, in my opinion, people usually tend to believe the good things, we are human beings la so it's just human nature. As for the bad things, we either comfort ourselves that we can change fate or just forget it after some time. Sometimes when you just don't want to believe it, it'll come true but what happens when you believe is that you'll tend to stay pessimistic in life correct? so what's the point of knowing NOW how your future will be like? My life aint that fantastic la. He said my love life is full of problems and my marriage will not work out if i get married before 35. ha. sad huh? this means i'll probably be old, haggard, alone and without a companion and kids. Because who will still get married after 35 and give birth to kids??!! Ridiculous la! So there, knowing what your future will be like isnt going to make you feel more relieve lo. When problems arise in the future, you'll tend to think of all these things and find them to be true if it happens to be bad things. That is why i rather prefer not to know. Do not understand why my parents are so eager to find out. Maybe they're just worried but now that they know what can they do rite? nobody's life is perfect de ma. oh my bro's one is better la. good for him lo. i guessed that's what they're most concerned about in the first place la. sigh. i shall just believe one reaps what one sows. take a step at a time ba. It's just so ironic when so many people tend to say "Life is unpredictable."

oh well.. this is my last exam time table and it kinda sucks cos it ends on the second last day i believe and it's at 5PM! congrats. HA.

it's april already...

just cleared all the tests this week. plus have been sick since monday. sighz. when u're sick u just dun feel like doing anything other than sleeping. but there's one more term paper to finish up tmr before i can settle down to plan for revision. exams is nearer than i tink. just two weeks away. my last exams in NUS. i still dun feel the reality hitting me in my face telling me dat i'm already graduating. i still hope dat it is far away...

that's all. i'm tired again.

Really had fun on wednesday with the leng lui chemists! First was singing at TOPone ktv. sang at the TOP of our lungs and there were lots of entertainment. we were there laughing hard till our stomachs and jaw hurt and singing songs from all era! lolx.

Then went for dinner at the shaw building. I should say our most anticipated dish was the home-made ice CREAM at Tom's Palette!!! the pictures below should tell you how we felt then. (:

busy busy month

no, i wasnt struck by lightning despite disappearing for such a long time.

just been rather busy after recess week. and in NUS u can expect what we students will be busy with (other than looking for professors to st*b). ha. the usual tests, quizzes, tutorials lorrrr. aber den rite? how interesting can NUS life be anyway? just cleared the sociology MTT today. finally! praying dat i will at least pass. writing essays is just not my style and it was such a long time ever since i wrote a decent essay. not dat i wrote a decent one today but i did try to interpret and answer the question correctly ya. my writing skills have gotten rusty after such a long time. but it's over! yayz! (for now -__-)

i expect the next few weeks to be busy ones too. with term paper due in less than 4 weeks and we haven started writing anything yet! but i believe our story will be a good and exciting one. hehe. expecting 3 more tests to be scheduled in the remaining weeks before reading week starts. no time for a breather! sigh.

ok. random. went to IT fair last friday since class ended early dat day due to no solids lecture. bought a camera! yay yayz! is panasonic lumix de. not a new model la but i tink its function is sufficient for simple-minded people like me. heh. i was choosing between pink and blue and i chose the blue one AFTER much consideration. nice isnt it? i tink it is. =)

yes. i've finally watched "The curious case of Benjamin Button" today. if u've watched, u would find the title of this post familiar. enjoyed the movie. it was slow yet not draggy. the story builds up bit by bit and i like the part where the director drew a perfect picture of how the so many "what IFs and maybes" in our daily life affect us. it is always when things have happened then people start to think of those what ifs and maybes - what if i haven went to watch this movie today? maybe then i would have more time to finish studying for my test next week. i feel dat it is rather realistic and i like the way the picture of those what ifs and maybes screened before me. everything is perfect. right timing. and then BAMM! back to reality. things arent dat perfect in real life. at the end of the movie, like wat he said, it felt like i've jus finished "reading" a book about the life of benjamin button.

wednesday..
cycling with the chemists and to celebrate xueli's birthday. the longest i've ride on a bicycle. 5hrs. and that resulted in really bad sunburnt and painful backside. haha. despite the shag-ness, we get to eat the very delicious ayam penyeeeet at changi village and a cup of thirst-quenching cooling lemon sugarcane juice and most importantly the joy of the company. it was worth the loooooong ride. (:

shopping with bestie today. went to orchard wanting to get a present for weesan's bday but end up we decided to share with peiwen so dat we could buy something better for her. so both of us went happily shopping for stationeries at Kinokuniya, and as usual clothes and shoes and bags...and looking out for my shawls/scarfs. wanted to buy a pair of shoes from cotton on but the shoes were not comfortable enough. this morning as i was bathing..i realized i forgot to add something very very IMPORTANT in my "i want" list! check it out! hahaha...

this one week break is gg to whee pass me yet i have not done anything constructive! i will start soon..i tink. =X

finally it's the one week recess break! this week had been busy. shagged.

Prepared for my socio presentation which was supposed to be on wed. yes SUPPOSED TO BE but my turn was pushed over to the next tutorial which is like 3 weeks later! *claps* -__- fyi im not dat happy dat it was postponed hor! becos dat means i will most probably spend more time on it and it's not like i havent spend enough time on it already! but NEBER MIND...sighs.

ok continue..had Einstein's test ytd. relativities, time dilation, length contraction, newton, einstein, lorentz, galileo, speed of light, gravity, stars, red giant, white dwarfs, meteors, comets, black holes, worm holes and the list goes on...it was a 40-MCQ test. i tink it was quite difficult. having to derive equations and calculate..and i answered some of the questions based on my intuition can(like wat dat solid state lecturer keep emphasizing). hopefully i can pass with an average grade.

then had the Transition metal test today which i burnt the midnight oil until 2am last night. the paper was do-able actually but i need more time to tink!!! so u guessed it, i couldnt finish the paper. so here i am hoping that i could pass becos the questions i couldnt finish up is worth a total of 30marks. yes pass is all i hope for. i dun expect high. i noe my limits after 3yrs in NUS. dat's all i can say.

And now it's all OVER!!! seriously need a good rest this weekend before i start ticking the to-do list.

oh and for valentine's day. i didnt blog about it like everybody else becos im jus lazy la. read a few blogs, facebooked and saw so many couples wearing couple tee, girls receiving nice beautiful flowers, cute vday gifts and had romantic meals tgt. im not saying all these becos im jealous if that's wat u're thinking. maybe a little bit envious only. i mean which normal girl wouldnt right? but den again valentine's day is a special day for a couple to make time for each other. i tink dat's the most important part other than receiving flowers and sweet vday prezzies. for me this year, we went to have a buffet lunch at sakae sushi then went shopping at raffles Xchange and tampines mall. i didnt buy anything for him. jus gave him a small little handmade card and another handmade gift. on the other hand, he bought me a blouse from bega which i wanted to buy the other day when i was shopping with him and a cute handmade card as well. (: simple valentine's. happy us at the end. also received candies and chocolates from fellow chemist babes! and not to forget the handmade personalized notebook from besfren!

wat else huh..seems like there's alot of things to blog. haha. oh ya..XQRJ 11th grand final the day after vday! nice songs, humourous MC, funny guests, crazy supporters, GREAT performance!!! very proud of them. every year i watched the grand final, i will always indulge in reminiscence and feeling of nostalgia. tinking dat...hey i was once at the backstage too, and i feel proud to be part of this big family. (:

last thing last, haha should have said this first but anyway, changed my blogskin cos the previous one is giving me some template problems! so i choose to use blogger's skin. simple and dotty and free of technical problems. haha. and alice told me my previous blogskin came with a background music but i havent heard any music leh! i increase my speaker's volume and wait but still no music leh! alice....wat did u hear......??? eerie...haha..

a hole in my wallet

On wed, the day after my bday, went shopping with bestie for my bday prezzie! We went to suntec after the very stressful socio tutorial (shall not mention more abt dat). After we walked for hours, looked at bags, clothes, shoes and more bags, finally i decided on a bag from F.L.Y. This is only the first part of my present. Hehe...:) Looking forward to my valentine's special handmade gift from bestie! =D

We came upon this bag at suntec and it was love at first sight for me! So both of us decided to get the same design tgt. It reminded us of the secondary school days when we once used to own the same bag too. Nostalgic...now i have to admit dat i'm old alr.

Yesterday, on impromptu, i bought a skirt from BEGA at amkhub. I didnt plan to buy anything when i patronized BEGA. Was just looking at some formal skirts and blouse for future interviews. Then, the very friendly salesgirl came over and introduced me some skirts and blouses. The next thing i noe, i was in the fitting room! and the bad thing is there was no mirror inside so i have to come out to see how the clothes fit. And the salesgirl gave me more blouses and skirts and asked me to try them. After trying and trying one after another, i bought the skirt which costs $39! I would feel very bad not buying anything after trying so many pieces so there goes. I will need the skirt in the future anyway and this skirt can be formal and casual and most importantly it is not as "long" as the other more formal skirts. As you all noe, i am quite vertically challenged therefore those skirts which is supposed to be knee-length for taller ladies will look ugly on me as it would be over the knees and i would look like an aunty! Now i have one formal skirt hanging on my "wardrobe". :))

Today went to take formal photos with dar at amk. I usually prefer the skills and services provided by bridal salons. After today's experience at a fujifilm shop, I swear i would nv go to those kind of films dat develop photos to take my passport or any other photos! Firstly, the shop's attendant's attitude seriously has a problem for the one i went to today. Secondly, the camera they used are normal digital camera which i think the one at my hse, if not for it being spoilt, would be a better one than it! Thirdly, the reason why i would say that is becos the quality of the photos is not satisfactory. They merely jus cropped the photo out and printed it and they didnt even bother to adjust the colour of the photos using photoshop. dar's ones looked so weird - his photos has yellow patches on his forehead and shoulder probably becos of the lousy camera!And my head was tilted slightly and they didnt even adjust it! Utterly disappointed. I've paid 5 bucks for 4 lousy photos and poor services! Pui!

As we headed to the hawker center for lunch, passed by BATA and saw dat they're having 50% off their heels and shoes. Tried on this white heels and another brown heels. The white heels looked nicer while the brown one is comfortable. But after trying a few more times, i tink the white one fits better. However, the heels was quite high (abt 3 inches). For someone who very very seldom wear heels, i tink it would be very unstable and a torture for my feet! The thing is i dun have any heels at home which i can wear to the career fair and even to future interviews and formal events! So am still contemplating whether i should buy it or look out for more choices and preferably lower stable heels.

One more candle on the cake

A few hours before the actual day...while i was happily watching tv and surfing the net, i was surprised by someone who rushed all the way to my house with a cake after a long and busy day. my heart was thumping against my chest when i received his sms saying dat he's at the void deck of my block. i tot he was playing a prank but the familiar "going up" voice from the background as i was talking to him on the phone tells me it is not. Thanks my dearest! :))

today, went to school early to meet the chemists for lunch! actually i knew dat they were going to have a mini celebration for me before our lectures. hehe. it was very rush - after makan our lunch, we went to a small corner at S16, sang bday song made a wish blew the candles cut the cake and packed up fast fast to rush for our lecture at 12. despite that i was happy. happy that they remembered and forked out their time to celebrate for me. happy dat in the end i get to bring the whole cake home! haha! =P but if there was more time i would love to share the cake with them. blame it on the bus 74! bleah!

Our 366th Day TGT

Today is our 1st year anniversary (:

But because today he is going back home for cny so we went out ytd. We didnt go to some restuarants to have a sumptous meal or do anything special. I think being able to spend a day with tgt with him already makes me happy. We went to dhoby ghaut to catch the movie he has been wanting to watch - 赤壁 II. Actually at first I wasnt interested to watch this movie because the first one was rather disappointing. But heard a few friends said that it's nicer this time round so decided to watch it with him. At the end of the movie, i marvelled at how smart 诸葛亮 is, those strategies and predictions he made during the battle between 周瑜 and 曹操. Therefore, overall i enjoyed the show despite its duration which i felt was abit too long for a battle movie cos nearing the end alot of time was spent filming on those fighting and killing scenes.

After the movie we went to have a late lunch at pasta mania after hesitating for a while on whether to go sakae or not. haha. Didnt go anywhere else after that as we were too tired. just shopped around Plaza Singapura and headed home in the evening. Was feeling quite shag cos i had an 8am lecture ytd morning and had to wake up at 530am! He was tired too as he also has to wake up early to go to his lab. Really thankful that he can make time to go out with me despite his busy labbing.

Time really flies at the speed of light and no faster because according to einstein's special relativity all particles cannot travel faster than the speed of light! HAHA. anyway, just a warning to those reading my blog: wat i'm going to say below might give u goosebumps. hahaha.

This year's CNY is early! This is the first week of the second and last semester in NUS for me. And before tutorial starts in week 3, everyone will be OFF for CNY! Yayz! Last week, my parents were busy with spring cleaning. We haven put up those decorative stuffs yet. Ah ma came today, with lots of CNY goodies!!! She will be staying here for a while. (:

Today only went to school for one EARLY lecture. So after that called him to accompany me to go shopping for my CNY clothes at bugis. Bought a white blouse and a red belt to go with it. I have another flowery tube dress and one black and white polka dots silky dress that my aunt bought for me. So there! That's more than enough for my CNY day 1 and day 2. haha.

Baking at Bestie's house today! exciting! went to Hougang mall to get the ingredients for making sugee cookies. Then, we headed back to her hse to start our mission for the day! We realized we had bought too much ingredients because we were kneading the dough into small balls and baking at the same time for like almost 5hours non-stop! It's not easy baking...alot of things to take note but meanwhile we learnt a few tips in the process. In the end..the cookies turned out to be more-like-butter-cookies sugee biscuits. HAHA! It was tiring but fun though! We should bake tgt again when we have time ya! next time maybe can try baking cakes or muffins. hehe!

今天突然有个想法，或许应该说是个疑问吧。是不是两个人在一起越长久就会越多冲突呢？因为一段感情久了，彼此都会把一切当作是理所当然的。可能是因为以前的经验使我有这样的想法吧。和他在一起快要一年了，我之前都不会有这种感觉的。也许是因为一年的逼近让我突然怀念之前还没有在一起时候的那种感觉。你是否也有这样想过呢？想想我们现在与当初有没有什么改变？今天，我们吵架了而且在气头上的我竟然提出要他考虑是否要继续跟我在一起。是不是很幼稚呢？虽然这不是我们第一次吵，但我觉得这次闹得蛮大的。也许我的怪脾气他已经忍够了。我承认我的脾气比较不好，不知道为什么。大家应该不会觉得，但私低下我的脾气是很不好的。因为我都不会跟朋友发脾气的，所以只有家人包括男友受罪啦。想一想，今天为什么那么生气呢？我也忘了，应该是很无理取闹的理由吧。真得很对不起你。是我的错。因为一向来他的脾气都很好的。可能是跟我在一起以后得容忍我不时的小姐脾气与无理取闹，而且加上他fyp的压力，使他的忍耐限度降低了吧。所以真的真的要跟你说一声......"谢谢"!谢谢你给与我的一切一切!还有一声“对不起”。对不起你每一次都得当我的出气筒。我会试着去调整我的脾气的啦。(:

It's the first day of 2009!

Rotting at home in front of my lappy. boring huh? He has to do SA duty in hall so no choice..i shall be a good girl and stay at home considering i haven been at home for the past 5 days due to the trip to melaka.

Didnt went for countdown this year. It's enough to just experience it once. The crowd is just too scary. Met up with the the hall friends for dinner. Went down ALL the way to Bukit Panjang. haha. We ordered alot of food. There're black pepper and 咸蛋 crabs, asam fish, sambal kangkong, hotplate toufu, panda leaves wrapped chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Sumptuous feast rite? After dinner, we went to shop 'N' save to buy some tidbits and wine for the countdown at Kane's house. Sadly, i cant stay for the countdown because they are all going to stay over at his place. So came back home. But luckily i have him to accompany me all the way back. Thanks for that. (: And you're the one and only person with me when the clock struck twelve.

It's my "little" brother's birthday today. So nice to be born during christmas time huh? Why so? Cos there'll always be a log cake as his birthday cake each year!

Treated my family to Pizzahut for dinner and my bro got his psp finally! hehe. i can psycho him to let me play next time lo. but tink he very niao one so not high chance he'll let me touch his psp. Bought a log cake and came back home to catch "Little Nyonya". Then after the show when we took out the cake and was preparing to cut the cake, i realized i forgot to ask the person for CANDLES!!! And becos it's a log cake, i tink the person assumed that we're jus celebrating xmas and didnt ask us if we need candles. dots rite...Luckily mama managed to find a candle which was given as an extra during dunno-who's birthday, so we jus made do with one small candle. He's sixteen by the way. HAHA.

Tmr i'll be going to malacca with my hall frens. Will be away from tmr till 28th dec 08, Sun.

2 days down to X'mas!

Presents exchange with my secondary school buddies today! The second time i've been to Plaza Singapura this week. We went to Ajiteh for lunch. Well they had ramen while i only ordered a nice dessert as i'd a late breakfast and wasnt hungry. While waiting for our food to come, we exchanged x'mas presents! hehe. I got a cute kitty pouch from bestie and a very nice notebook and a box of mushroom chocos from weewee! I tink this is the first time we meet up during x'mas and exchanged presents?

Caught "The Day the Earth Stood Still" at The Cathay after lunch. The movie was not bad. It's about an alien in a human body who saved the planet Earth from destruction by his species. They claimed that humans have caused harm to the Earth and they're here to save the planet from the humans. There were a few parts which made me jumped though. haha.

After movie, we walked back to PS and came across a section where you often see small kids sitting in cute little stools and colouring and making some art work. We decided to make one and started choosing the designs we like. A pity that peiwen had to leave early so she didnt get to make one. So only me bestie and wee sat down in those small stools and tables and started colouring like the other kids. haha. It was fun! I cant even remember when's the last time i hold a colour pencil and colour. Our masterpieces were very sweet and nice! The process of getting our art works amazed us as we witnessed it. The piece of design which we chose and finally finished adding colours to it were placed into an oven. Then the art pieces started to shrink and shrink and shrink!!! And...taa-daa! Our masterpieces are done! Amazing~ take a look at them below.

And yesterday, me and dardar went to watch "Bolt" at AMKhub. Cute movie with cute characters. Rhino the fat hamster, Bolt the dog, Mittens the black kitty and the pigeons! haha. I like the movie. I noe he finds it abit boring cos only films like the "iP man" will make him not yawn after the movie. haha. Jus found out today that "iP man" is pronounced as "eep mun" and not I-P Man. It's the canto pronounciation of the show's chinese name "叶问". (:

Today is a happie day!

Singing and xmas shopping and walking down the nicely decorated streets of orchard.

First thing first, i finally satisfied my "craving" to go kbox! Sang till my voice went sore today. Shiok!

After singing, we merrily went down to Takashimaya to shop for Xmas cards. Both of us bought a box of cards. Meanwhile, we saw quite alot of cutey stuffs and many shoppers buying Xmas presents! The whole town is filled with the festive season. So exciting!

Then, our stomachs sent signals to our brains telling us to find a place to settle for dinner. We tried out Ajisen Ramen. There was a queue and luckily we got a seat fast. I ordered tom yam ramen cos i wanted to eat something spicy and sour. Bestie ordered a spicy chashu ramen. The ramen came with a free drink and an ala carte. We had fried tofu and white fish (which is jus fried fish nuggets i tink). The food is ok. But i am now filling very thirsty. I guessed is the tom yam soup's fault.

Holiday week 2

I am back! reached home ytd night. Feeling very lazy to blog these days. where have i been the past few days?

Last friday my whole family went to my waipo's house in jB to stay over for a night. The next day is saturday and we have to attend a wedding dinner in the evening in muar. My uncle and aunt came to fetch us in the morning and we drove down to melaka. We reached at around noon and had a nice chicken rice lunch my 小姑 prepared. After which she brought us to a fashion shop which sells clothes. After trying on 3 pieces of dress, I was persuaded to get one becos both my aunts said it looks nice on me plus the quality of the dress is not bad. It's a black and white checkered dress. 小姑 bought it for me in the end. Mama kept pushing her the money she kept pushing it away. dots. Well, i'm happy with my dress. hee.

The wedding dinner that evening was a vegetarian dinner. It was our first time eating a vegetarian wedding dinner. And also my first time having a wedding dinner at a school's parade square。 Of cos it was well decorated with a stage and red carpet and all. BUT there was no air-conditioning. I heard that there was no restaurant offering vegetarian wedding dinner there so have to do with this. Wondering why it is vegetarian? Becaus the bridesgroom himself is a vegetarian. Initially i had high expectations for the dishes cos heard that some vegetarian dinner not bad de. But then, was disappointed. Out of the 8 dishes that night, i think only half is edible and nice (especially the dessert which is chocolate ice-cream). haha. I didnt eat alot but was feeling bloated after the dinner. Maybe is becos of flour. Most of the dishes is like flour-made.
ok. Apart from the dishes, the bride is very pretty. haha.

The next day, Sunday, we celebrated my ah ma's 80th 大壽! My aunt cooked curry chicken, fried bee hoon, fried chicken and dessert we have "orh jut bee" and longan plus 海底椰. The fried chicken super nice. Nicer than KFC i dare say. Almost all my father's side of the family was there except my 叔叔 and his family. After singing the birthday song and blowing the candles, we had a mini photo-taking session. We took our 全家幅 too! (:

After that mama papa and my bro followed my uncle and aunt back to jB to my waipo's hse again. For me, i stayed over for one more day. The following day which is monday which is hari raya haji, dar and his family came to melaka despite the rain. Quite paiseh actually cos i felt that if i'm not in melaka, they probably wun have come on a rainy day la. Anyway, met him and his family in the late afternoon. Walked around at jonker street, they shopped for their souvenirs and went to the famous 觀音廟 in melaka. We had satay celup for dinner at a place i haven been to before. It's not the popular satay celup stall. We wanted to go there but expected long queue during dinner time so went to this one instead. After dinner, went shopping for his daddy's and sisters' cny clothes. Then, drove back to kluang and reached at around midnight.

Watched Madagascar 2 dvd at his house. I dun tink it's very nice leh. Not very funny also. Luckily i never go watch in the cinema. I wanna watch bolt next! hee. On tuesday morning, his daddy brought us out for breakfast. Had bak kut teh, 豬腳醋 and 鹹菜. A sumptous breakfast. haha. Then, followed dar to cut hair and had a late lunch at an indian stall. Masala thosai and teh ice. Enak sekali! Bought bus ticket back to Singapore cos the train tickets were all sold out. His mummy brought us and his siblings to pasar malam to buy some food to eat before we leave for sg. Ramly burger again! A must eat food whenever i go there. haha. Say byebye at 7pm as we board the bus. Back in time to hall for his SA duty. As it's quite late already, so i told papa i stayed over and would be back the next day.

So here sums up my schedule the past few days. mama and bro will only be back from waipo's house this saturday. now i am home alone and bored to death! That is why i can write such a long blog. ha! And worse, my laptop is down!!! I cant start up. It will auto shut down during startup. Like mei you li liddat. sian. All my photos and stuffs inside lo. why spoil during my holiday?? stupid. Now have to temporarily use my bro's PC. But when he's back i wun get a chance to use it le.

Anyway, meeting besfren tmr for kbox at orchard! woohoo! cant wait! Have been itching to go kbox since dunno when but was busy with assignments and tests and then exams came. Tmr i shall sing my hearts out! hehe.

AND because of lack of sleep and having ate lots of heaty food...i'm back with a sore throat. and as always..sore throat is the first synthoms. yes...wat followed after was a fluuuu...terrible. slept the whole day since ytd. visit the doc this afternoon and am resting and recovering in progress...

Outcome: i didnt touch any of my notes. NONE at all! feeling lethargic all the time...hope the viruses go away sooooon so that i can hit my notes tmr!

the long weekend was finally here! felt so happy and light after the two tests on friday. so decided to slack throughout the weekend! and i did. (:

on saturday, after handing up my CL assignment, me and dardar went to vivocity. long time since i've been there. dun quite like to shop there maybe becos i find it too big and messy. the shops and restaurants are all over and we have to walk one big round to find one shop lo. so half a day was spent at vivocity. while shopping around, i saw these guitars in one of the shops and immediately made me think of jenjen. (u shld noe why (:)

after 3 hours of walking around, we decided to settle down for dinner at carls' junior. that was my first time eating there. before i went, i heard dat their servings were very big and two person can share a combo. but me and dar were too hungry so we ordered a burger for each of us. well...i tink for hungry people one burger is jus enough for one person. not VERY big la. i can finish one lo. hehe. if without the free-flow drink i tink i can still finish the fries myself cos the drinks made me bloated. HAHA. i am a big eater. ((:
overall, the burger was nice! and i like the fries which is different from the normal fries like MacD, burger king and KFC. it is made from jus peeled potatoes. u can still see the skin of the potatoes de.

went for a stroll at the sky park after the very full dinner. managed to catch the sunset.

taa-daa! gigantic ice kachang is back at the amk hawker! but the price has increased by 2 bucks. i guess rent is getting high. nice cooling brown sugar and chocolate syrup ice kachang! sedup!

well...sad to say this...but still...

AMKhub NewYork NewYork. buffalo wings. whole spring chicken with potato wedges. my treat. arcade. crowded. attempted to "catch" those soft toys. number of attempts=2. failed. played with those vending machines which dispense "蛋蛋". got 3 small and cute toys. happy being childish. children's day ma. want to play mario kart. next time. nice cute characters in the game. nice graphics. McCafe's mochafrappe. tried for the first time. savoured the nice aroma of coffee while waiting. good stimulants for the brain when u're tired. (:

Beethoven's nite

Due to the fact that i am taking PC1327 Science of Music this sem which requires us to watch a music concert and then write an essay on it, me and my fellow chemists went to catch a piano concert on friday at UCC. the pianist is named Geoffrey Saba who played Beethoven's last three sonata. he has performed in Great Britain since the 1970s and was awarded a bronze medal at an International Piano Master Competition. the entire concert lasted for about one and half hours. no intervals.

for someone without music background, like me for example, will tend to get very fidgety and sleepy during the concert. first half of it was still ok. until the last part...i almost fell asleep...the music is like a lullaby lor. ok...maybe i jus dunno how to appreciate la. bleah. and friday was a long day for me. 9am to 6pm lectures and tutorial with 2 hours of break only. woke up at 645am. so u shld understand why i felt so sleepy la. so now the most headache thing is how am i going to write the essay based on this concert. haiz. nvm. shall worry abt it during recess week.

CAs are coming. sianz. have to start studying some time soon. going to comex tmr morning with dar and the hall frens. have to wake early again. since sch starts i haven been sleeping till past noon. good sign. haha. need to adopt a healthy lifestyle. sleep early wake early good for health! hehe. but my fats are multiplying! bad sign! maybe i'm not stress yet. wait till all the tests quizzes viva and exams set in. hoho.

anyway, shingshing is flying off very soooon...gonna miss her lots lots.
today we went to this coffeeshop near my house to eat zhu cao. we have in total almost 20 ppl so end up have to split into two large tables. only been there to eat once and i remembered that time each dish cost only $4.80. cheap hor. now no more that promotion lo. but the dishes are still not bad la...i like the sambal sotong and the sambal kangkong especially. nice! haha.

i'm back! jus yesterday afternoon. tired. took a train back. the seat wasnt very comfortable so couldnt manage to sleep well. but was a new experience.

there's no lab today cos lab only starts next week. thank god. cos i'm so tired and if there's lab today i tink i'll had a hard time waking up.

checked my mails and ivle for some updates. this will be my everyday routine from today onwards. cos mails regarding the modules and uploading of lecture notes will be streaming in everyday. haiz.

back to reality, sy! *smacks*

haven packed my bag for tmr. tmr will be the start. tmr will be a long day. *take in a deeeep breath*

this will be another busy sem. my second last sem in NUS.

Am now at Kluang in dar's house.

Just a quick update because i just wanna put up a post on this very nice date. haha.

Still watching the Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony on channel 5. it's the march past of all the athletes from all over the world now. a total of 2o5 if i'm not wrong. so taking this opportunity to blog now. heh.

after innova pri on wed, met dar and came back in the afternoon. arrived at kluang at around evening. rest a while at home. ate half a ramly burger before dinner. heh. and waited for his daddy to be back from tutoring. den we went to a restaurant for dinner. our treat for his mummy's belated birthday. dishes were:
黄金螃蟹 -which is crabs fried with 咸蛋黄.
鹿肉
家乡豆腐
马来风光- which is kangkong fried with sambal
蒸鱼

都很好吃！especially the crabs! i love seafood. wahaha.

the pace here in kluang is rather relaxing. nothing to worry about. lots of nice food. no hurrying to go anywhere. the next day went to have curry mee for brunch with his mummy and him. and watched "the dark knight" in the afternoon. went to shop around Kluang plaza before the movie. bought a t-shirt for myself. he also bought some dvds. one of them is 赤壁.

the dark knight was very nice and thrilling! the joker was pretty scary. and the cinema is damn cold~~thank goodness i had his sis' bright pink mickey mouse jacket. else i tink i'll froze inside the cinema. dinner was simple. dar and i went to da bao some dishes back home for dinner. after dinner guess wat's for dessert?? hehe...DURIANS!!! very nice! D24, 101, 红虾榴莲 and after eating the king of fruits of cos we have to eat the queen mangosteens lo! haha. shuang dao~ :))
watched the 赤壁 we bought earlier as we enjoyed the durians. quite ok for me only. cos it's 三国演义 kind of movie. and until the end den i realized it's only part one. dots. like no ending. sianz. haha.

and this morning we woke up early at 7am to go out for breakfast with his mummy. after sending his cute little chubby bro off to school, his mum came back to fetch us. she quite cute leh. cos dar told her i got write blog when i wanna take some pictures of the food. so this morning she told me can blog at 8.08am cos today is 08.08.08. very nice number. hahaha! but in the end i didnt cos abit paiseh to make her purposely wait till after i blog finish den come out. so we went out anyway. went to this kopitiam for very nice kopi and i cant help so ate one half-boiled egg. heh. after kopi and seeing lots of aunties streaming in for "morning gathering" which is a routine for them actually, we quickly 拍拍屁股 and head off for some morning exercise. went to 爬山. jus walked up i tink maybe a quarter of the mountain ba. breathed in some fresh air and managed to see what the people there do during the morning. healthy and carefree lifestyle they have i must say. envied them.

after kopi and exercise, his mummy brought us to yong peng for even more breakfast. went to eat 点心. nice and cheap. eat till super full. actually wanted to eat fried ice-cream but the shop was not open in the morning. went to walk around the pasar there. den on our way back. went to try this claypot 红酒面线. this is a teochew's dish and being a teochew i didnt know that! but i like the soup. 有很浓的红酒味. bagus sekali!

well. dat's all for now. tmr will be the last day in kluang before we go back to singapore to prepare for the new semester. not very looking forward to that. haha. have grown lazy bones these 3 mths of holidays. hee.

btw, i dun have the photos with me. cos they're in dar's handphone. and it's not alot actually. couldnt bothered to take pics. and partly becos i'm abit paiseh to take in front of his family. haha. later they tink i so bo liao. eat also mus take picture. haha.

16th july
started work at the Brenner's centre for molecular medicine.
under a prof named christopher hogue.
so far so good. mon-fri 9am-530pm. but the prof only comes after lunch and always leaves before 5pm. so working there is quite slack.
probably working till end july. and if my timetable allows me to have some free tim den i'll be back to help until 29th aug.
it's part-time. it's flexible.

Science kit...
still at the preparation part. going pretty smoothly...
will be able to see and distribute the kits to the exciting kids in 2 weeks' time!
this 25 per hour pay is not easy money~
despite that, i am and she is and so we are very proud of our hardwork. (:

i am so bored!!! cos today is a weekday. a monday. the first day of the week. where everyone who is working will get monday blues. as for me...i finally woke up after 12hrs of sleep. HAHA. dun be shocked! cos this is quite normal for me during the holidays. yes u must be thinking i am an Oink-Oink animal. bleah! but thinking dat i haven nothing to do even if i wake up early jus makes me feel very sian so i might as well continue lying in bed. but this will stop sooooon. in one week's time i will complain of boredom no more and be able to occupy myself with work!

got a job working for a biological science professor at the Brenner centre for molecular medicine in NUS. quite excited about it. he's quite a knowledgeable and easy-going guy. quite young for his status. haha. basically will be helping him to do some purchasing of chemicals and equipments for his new laboratory which he claimed has NOTHING. only crickets sound. haha. i was hoping to start work like maybe this week but he's not in singapore and will only return next week. so dat explains why i am only starting work in the middle of july until the new semester starts.

that's all for now...shall continue rotting and growing mushrooms...and a sudden crave for cheesecake jus strikes me! =X

Cycling!

at East Coast park

nice weather...blue sky and cottony clouds...plus the greenish sea and sea breeze

out of ECP. so where are we? answer is - changi beach. first time i cycled so far.

saw a nice "garden" so we stopped to take some pics. and also to relieve the pain on our butts. haha.

bedok jetty. as usual. the wind there is STRONG.

after 2.5 hours of cycling. tired we were. legs all gone soft. and the most important thing is to satisfy our tummies! went to this indonesian restaurant "Waroeng" situated at the marine parade neighbourhood area.

all of us ordered this. fried chicken with crispy batter on top. in addition with the spicy hot sambal chilli! shioks!

and back home...suffering from sunburnt, "sour" legs and aching neck, shoulders and bottoms. haha. so u can tell i haven been exercising for quite some time already.

went over to meet dar this afternoon. and guess wat?? he was cooking curry! again. haha. nice nice. i like the feeling of not having to worry about anything or do anything..at all. and jus sit there and chatter away...enjoying the breeze. enjoying the curry aroma in the room...shuang. best thing is...i dun have to do ANYTHING! yayz! i really think he can be a househusband in future la. hahaha. i dunno if that's a compliment to him. well...at least he noes how to cook..unlike me. and somemore i'm a girl! so malu la...mummy always says me also.

anyway, we made brownies too! very easy! cos he bought those ready-mixed powder then jus add eggs and oil and bake in the oven for 45min and taa-da~the brownie is ready! very nice and chocolatey! crispy at the sides and soft and chewy in the middle. yums...(:

all the cooking and baking took up 2/3 of the whole afternoon lo. but it was still shuang. relaxing and there's food to eat! haha. i tink i'll grow fatter this hols. need to start my running sooooon...

starting to look for a job...any lobang anyone? but i can only work for a month until sch starts. still i need to work. i need to earn money. yes i NEED to. or i'll go broke. no more outs. will become a 宅女. hahaha.

today marks the end of the SPECIAL TERM.
after THE exam(which i chose not to talk about now since it's already over), the chemists headed to raffles city for lunch.

a cool place with nice food. kinda like Marche but i guaranteed that the food there is much nicer. laughters while savouring the food. nice atmosphere too. and most importantly, nice friends to share the laughters and food together. cool~

first we each got a card like this to order our food.

THEN we reserved a table. oops. maybe SHE is reserved too huh? Lolx!

so that concludes our 3-hour lunch. heh.

after lunch was shopping! MANGO sales! i bought a purple tank top at only 7 bucks. happy! =D

from now on up till august...no more lab. no more lab report. no more exam!!! yayz! so now is slacking time while looking for a job.

To the Zooooooo

the zoo. a place i've never been to since after primary school. so....can say i was quite excited about it. thanks to dardar who is a blood donor, hence both of us enjoyed free admission into the zoo on a early saturday morning. so coincidentally there was this dunno wat company's family day and i tink there are some other events gg on at the zoo therefore we were welcomed by a big crowd at the ticketing counter. luckily for us we dun have to buy our tickets. there's another side for the blood donors and the queue was pretty fast. so here goes...

i didnt upload all the pics here cos there are like 183 of them, mostly of the animals. we visited all the animals. the parrots, the crocodile, the mousedeer, the white tigers, the lions, the elephants, the giraffes, the zebra, the polar bear, the penguin, the leopard, the reptiles, the hippo, the pigs, the wolf, the kangaroos, the monkeys, the orang utans etc. haha. we also went to the orchid garden just beside the seletar reservoir. nice view. pretty flowers.

watched the elephant show and the show by some of the marine animals such as the seals, penguins. but there were too many people and me being too short can only get a glimpse of the animals' head from a distance away. sad. nevertheless, it was still quite entertaining.
All in all, enjoyed the day despite the humid and hot weather and the crowd! it's worth the trip! =)

back to marina square to get my wallet. but came out of "The Wallet Shop" empty-handed. no more stock for the design i like. sad. but it's okay. shall wait for the next batch of new ones coming in. hopefully is nice as well. i wan purple.

It's the Great time to shop, because there are discounts everywhere.

Bes fren and I went out shopping today, and bought quite alot of stuffs! We went to Marina Square, and spent like 3 hours shopping there. Then to Suntec City, where we spent another 2 hours.

I bought a pair of jeans, and a dress! In total... I spent 45 bucks today(within budget) and got more than wat i targeted to buy. yayz! happy. hee.

Bes fren bought a top, a skirt, an overall, a pair of shoes and a cheap cheap $10 bag.

It's very enjoyable, if you go shopping with someone who intends to buy some things as well. You go into the changing rooms together, and come out to comment on each others' outfit. It feels good to have someone encourage and say what you are wearing looks nice. We give earnest comments of course.

My best friend is as tall as me, and weighs about the same.

My best friend likes pretty stuffs because she's pretty of course, has a heart of gold, has a heart of a little mature girl.

My best friend does go for some branded stuffs, but is still contented with something cheap sometimes, as long as it is nice.

My best friend does not talk to me over the phone often, but always has plenty of things to share with me when we meet.

My best friend never fights with me over anything, and I never ever felt any bit of competition between us.

My best friend will always be there for me.

for the primary school kids of course.

as for me, it's not a holiday-like holiday for me. hah. today's show and tell: Balloon Race! quite fun and exciting! the kids were really excited and enthusiastic. i guess the main reason is because of the balloons! which kid wouldnt love balloons aint it? however, there's still the usual "please sit down!". i dunno how many times we've said dat this morning. haha. nevertheless, it was another fun and interesting experience. this is the last show & tell for now which marks the end of their school term as well. during their holiday, we'll have to come up with ideas for a "take home science kit" project.

today was suppose to head off to ECP after the show & tell. but it was postponed. looking forward to it. i really need to exercise!

so instead, i met up with him and we went to the Acer service center to repair his faulty laptop. the service center is somewhere in boon lay. and dunno isit suay or heng, the bus we boarded broke down three stops after we boarded the bus. diao~ rite? it's just the air-con which didnt work. the bus still can move but the bus driver decided to stop. so to him is heng cos he reasoned dat we would be stuck in a stuffy bus in this kind of hot weather if it didnt stop. well...i have to agree la. these few days' weather is really really damn hot la! so finally we arrived at Acer service center. took a queue number and waited for an hour before the screen showed our queue number. there're i tink 12 or 13 counters but we still have to wait for DAT long. poor service. we submitted a feedback form each while waiting. cannot take it.

then, we took a bus to jurong east interchange which we thought was boon lay interchange. so actually planned to go jurong point but realized jurong point is at boon lay and we're at jurong east...-___-lll therefore, we went to IMM instead since he'd nv been there before. went to swensen's for dessert! long time nv eat swensen's ice cream le! super nice wor! =D somemore there's students' happy hour deal. we ordered a cookies summit and a frosted malt sundae for $9.80! hehe. i tink i'll really get fat this holiday. walk walk around at IMM. went into Daiso. checked out some wallets as well since he said he's gg to get me one. but end up didnt see any i like VERY MUCH. ya...haha. dat's all for today.

shopping with bestie tmr! excited! why excited? cos it's the GSS(Great Singapore Sales!) yeah! hoping to get myself a new pair of jeans. yep! dat's my shopping target tmr! budget will be...below 50? i'm not exactly working and earning much. somemore is the hols. no incoming pocketmoney. so...budget budget.

she's finally back from china this morning with loads of things! hehe...she bought alot of bags, accessories, some souvenirs from the tourists' attractions there etc.

my er yi and mama. my mama quite funny leh...put twist somemore. LOL.

mama with her new cool sunglasses. didnt know she can be so "hip" leh.

this is a decorative stuff made of some kind of straws from some leaves. mama bought alot. it comes in different shapes. very beautiful wor. like wind chime except it doesnt produce sound.

the necklace she gave me. she bought two. i chose this one. the pearl is from real oyster leh. she said the guy there digged it out for them. BIG. haha. dunno when i'll wear it la. jus keep it first. hee.

pendants in different shapes and patterns. nice. it's mine too! wahaha!

the jade bracelet. mama bought like 5 of them la. tink it's really cheap over there. i only took one. i'm not greedy de lor.

see the number of bags she bought!!! 10 of them in total! goodness! but some are gifts for my aunties la. but more than half of them is ours! as in me and mama can share lo. cos those bags really my style. haha. those at the left side de. hee.

ytd was too tired to blog when i came back home. went with my jc classmates to choyyoke's birthday party @ her house which is at redhill. alot of people at her house wor. relatives and friends. catered lunch provided. i love the mango sago thingy. very nice. had an urge to go for another bowl but my stomach wasnt feeling very comfortable(due to the monthly stuff.haiz) so i stopped myself. haha. after cutting the cake, taking photos (which i dun have it right now), eating the cake, chatting abit, we headed to pL's hse for mahjong session. tell u...my jc classmates are mahjong lovers! they can play for hours and hours non-stop de ok. haha. i didnt play la. i jus sat down and watch tv. hee. too tired. called mcD and kfc for dinner! very shuang. realized alot of my friends are gg for attachments/internships le. most of the guys are working. so...dunno until when den will meet up with them again. well...take care ba~ till we meet again. last paper ended last saturday 3may2008 3pm.

shopping at causeway point with xueli and after dat to shing's birthday chalet. the catering was nice! and we were all very hungry when we reached. haha. she played a great host! (: her mum is very cute and sweet wor. fun size, like her. hahaha. she ordered a BIG cake for shing. and i mean BIG. when we saw we were like "wah, the cake so big leh!" den auntie heard and she said "of cos la! 21st bday leh!" so cute rite? i tink my mum would nv say dat. haha. and she bought a nice key necklace for shing and put it on for her after a few attempts cos i tink she "lao hua" den cant see which makes it quite difficult to hook the thing. haha. but u shld have seen how she helped her wear it. such a heartwarming scene lor. shingshing ah...u're so blessed! hee. oh, and we bought an espirit bag for her. white colour. hope she likes it. anyway, enjoyed the first night out after exam!:))

wanted to renew my passport today but when i arrived at ICA den the service officer told me dat i have to take my oath before i can extend my passport. and i wasnt in proper attire for oath and i didnt bring the relevant documents. so wasted a trip there with mama. off to bugis to shop for mama's bag and she bought some dried finger food. she bought a bag at $10. quite nice. i chose for her de. heh. den i bought a "Little Miss Late" tee-shirt which i tink suits me la (for those who often go out with me shld share the same feeling ya. haha).

after dat got a call from kh and so ended up meeting him yifei and anthony at cityhall to go ding tai feng for lunch. their lunch i mean. den we went to kbox! sang for three hrs. until voice abit hoarse when we finished. they said my voice very ci xing. haha. first time got ppl praised my singing. HAHA. thanks anthony. lolx. ur voice is very nice also. jus dat tink he very shy la. haha. base two voice.

back home for dinner. going ICA again tmr. sianz. suppose to meet up with the girls but not sure if tmr will get things done early. i doubt so. considering the crowd today there. tink i might have to wait for a few hours. sianz. better bring a book with me. else i'll be bored to death.

going to kluang with dardar on wed. will be back on friday. jus wanna get away from this stressed environment for a few days and jus relax myself without having to think abt any other things. but i tink i'll still be stressed. somehow.

meanwhile...staying at home for the weekend to 养病. this is the second time i'm sick within 4 weeks. haiz. yes i'm getting weak. reasons? unknown. maybe because of stress? i'm not a doctor so...*shrugs*. becoming more vulnerable to viruses! not good.

exams coming. not good. lots of things to study. not good. haven been in the most delightful mood this one week. dreadful. jus feel like doing nothing but of cos cannot la. no time to study le. considering my exam timetable is like this

至于上层不透明…带头的我就不管了,因为他是一个住了两年hall却连各大CCA的长处，成就，成员都不知道就去竞选的人。

dd and a few others were quite upset about it. the feeling of betrayal. i dun exactly know how it feels like. but i guess nobody would like it. maybe for me i'll be really angry at first. den after dat i'll noe who can i trust and not trust. simple to say but when u're the victim it's not as simple as u tink. i dunno. i hate backstabbers. i mean if u dun let me find out it's still ok. well. if i happen to find out, bearing in mind dat words of mouths are very powerful ya, u'll jus be out of my circle. and far far AWAY. u can still come look for me and talk to me. but sorry to tell u, u'll be ignored.

all in all, the important lesson here is TRUST. trust only those u tink is reliable. but how to see who is and who's not? no answer. and when u noe ppl trust u, dun make use of it and go around and stab dat person back. it hurts. really.

didnt feel good after the two tests today.
suddenly very demoralized. and stressed at the same time.
felt dat everyone around me knows and only i am left out cos i dunno. i AM the ODD one OUT. this is not the first time i'm feeling this way anyway. and not academic wise only i must say.
maybe i'm jus stupid. maybe i dunno how to communicate well enough. i study and others study as well. but i'm always the slower one to get things right and sometimes i dun even get it! i tink dat's the diff between smart and not smart ppl.

but i told myself i'm not gg to give up jus yet.
i'm gg to sit through all this and get the hell out of this school with a GOOD ENOUGH CAP. CAP. dat's wat most employer cares about. dat's wat parents are concerned about. dat's the indicator of how ppl see how smart and how "mugger" you are. i dun expect much now. my confidence has been gg up and down over these two years which equals to four terrible semesters. i cant undo things.
so the only thing i can do now is to strive harder for the best of my bright future. boo.

Pasir Ris Park Mangrove Swamp
a nice nature walk with dardar and his cousin...despite the lack of sleep.
saw alot of crabs coming out of their holes and a few mudskippers popping out of the mud.
went up the bird-watching "tower" but no birds for us to watch. all the birds either go to sleep liao or have went to search for food le.haha.we are 迟起的鸟儿 so 没有虫吃 lor.
on our way out of the swamp, saw a damn big SPIDER! and its damn big WEB! and it was eating a teeny weeny beeee. scary. first time i saw such a HUGE spider! ok i am exaggerating but it is really BIG. i tink its body's length is abt 1.5-2cm ba. excluding its head. big rite?? took some pics with his cousin's camera. dun tink i'll be able to upload them so jus imagine urself la. hehe.
walked to the beach and sat down under a tree to rest. although it's quite hot dat day but...i love the beach! love the smell of the sea and best is if it's very windy den can feel the breeze blowing on my face. relaxing...makes me miss redang where the sea is clear blue and wat u can see when u look out is the blue sea and cliffs and islands and the sky and the cotton-like clouds...really can relax there...dun have to worry about study exams assignments lab reports blah blah. shuang~tinking of these makes me realized i miss the people i went to the trip with. hope everyone's doing fine. jiayou for the exams lo!

Little India
lunch at one indian restaurant in little india. i ordered mushroom uttaphan(not sure how to spell) and teh tarik, dardar ordered masala dosai. his cousin ordered a set meal. the food is very nice and fattening at the same time. haha. so bloated after our lunch. went to walk around little india abit cos it's jus my second time there. the vegetables they sell there is very fresh and nice and some cant be found in our normal market de. but we nv buy la.

Toa Payoh
decided to go toa payoh to walk walk since it has been such a long time i've been there. really long time. alot more new shops. sadly didnt bump into jenjen there. haha. also long time nv meet her le. miss u gal.

finally back to my hometown. amk...haha. accompany him to ntuc to buy some stuff and SOOOO coincidentally bump into my parents there. haha. tink he was abit stunned. i didnt expect papa mama to be there too cos before dat i called home and mama asked me to help her buy a roasted chicken de. haha. anyway, he was being invited to my hse for dinner. spontaneous. tink mama didnt noe there's dinner in hall on sunday and it's already evening so might as well ask him over to eat lo. well...tink he was very stressed out and nervous. LOL. but my parents' impression of him was good la. cos he's dat kind of person who can really communicate well (can say he's very talkative la. hahaha.). even with those he's not familiar with. how i wish i have his traits. haha. he shld be happy cos my parents haven said anything bad about him so far. heh. cos usually they'll say abt nationality stuff la and the usual thing la like concentrate on studies first blah blah. i'm also glad that they didnt say all that this time. i tink they assumed i already noe and shld noe wat i'm doing and wat are my priorities now. hee. despite not telling them straight abt our relationship, but i tink my very geng papa mama shld already noe long ago liao. since the first one i dun have to tell them cos they usually found out themselves. it's pretty obvious la i tink. or maybe it's jus they're too geng liao. ha.

was pondering over whether to take special term this coming holidays to clear one of the level 3 chemistry module
CM3291 Advanced Experiments In Organic & Inorganic Chemistry.

the module title already sounds disgusting isnt it? that's why i want to clear it during special term so that i wont have to pull my hair off next semester doing this module in addition to 2 other chemistry level 3 modules. *puke* and "good" news. this module has no lectures! GREAT right? dont be deceived! instead there are 2 lab sessions per week and each lasting 6 hours! S-I-X~ which adds up to T-W-E-L-V-E hours of lab PER WEEK. oh well...what can i expect? maybe one conclusion i'll come up with after 3 years in NUS : i've chose the wrong major. ta-dah! ha.

anyway anyway, i've decided to take special term as i realized there's quite a few of my friends taking this module as well. companies! hee. registration starts 17 mar and ends 24 mar. regarding the fee, have told mama and papa already. after the 6 weeks of special term, i hope i can find a flexible part-time or an internship(but i think the chances of finding and successfully getting one is quite small). this is so i can at least help pay part of the fee as it's not supposed to be included in my course of study.

this week is still quite ok so far. at least there isnt any test. just one report due on friday. hope to get it done by tmr. no no. by hook or by crook we HAVE to get it done during tmr's meeting! will be meeting at ENgin Mac 9am. fyi i just had mac for lunch today after my lab. think i better eat breakfast before i go. it's unhealthy to eat mac consecutively in two days. yucks!

since last week i realized that i've been having very frequent mood swings. sometimes very high den after that i'll sink into depression or frustration. dont know what is happening to me. very unstable. stressed? maybe? sometimes just felt like there's something pressing down on my chest and i just want to and have to let it out. other times i'll just be overwhelmed by exhaustion and even talking seems like a difficult task because i just felt too lazy and cui to speak. thus, i seek your understanding when you happen to see me in one of the above states ya. hee.

first time went to sing kbox with those crazy girls! haha! let me introduce..they are alice the lamer, xinyi the geek, ximiao the miaoster, shingyuan the luo bao, lela the spoilt-sport for today, michelle - alice's les partner and lastly...the birthday girl...xueli the mugger! so the EIGHT of US sing sing and sing for almost 5 hours..super high can! haha...screaming all the way until we were too tired to sing nearing the end of the session! and we sang songs like..."top of the world", "baby one more time" by BRITNET SPEARS (such a long long ago song!!i tink the last time i heard it was in sec 2 or 3!!!HAHA!we were screaming at the part " HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME!") and the calsberg song (u noe the "i love u baby~~and if it's quite alright...i need you baby...to warm a lonely night...i love you baby..trust in me when i say~~) LoLx! den when we sang those duet songs, we had competition between ourselves..see which pair sings the best and put in the most feelings like have to 深情look at each other while singing. wahaha! me and xinyi won the song "屋顶“ by 吴宗宪 and 温岚. she sang the 吴宗宪 part which was super hilarious cos she purposely lowered her voice until very very low den her expression is priceless! hahaha! we 配合until very good lor...hehe...well...i tink practically everyone was super high today! sang until my throat sore...den cant sing those high pitch part and end up 走音.haha.=P

reached home at around 5pm. very tired. this morning wai po and ah yi came. mama brought them out to shop and also to bring ah yi to those travel agencies to search for those tours to china. mama and ah yi going to china in may lor. so shuang. they going on 10may. for 8 days. den left me my bro and papa at home. best...she knows how to go enjoy liao...wondering if there's any plans from microbelly for this coming 3-mth holiday. if there is dun even noe i can go anot...need to find job. need money!

first day of recess week. went town with bes fren. main objective - get present for weesan's 21st bday! we bought a very pretty birthday card for her. i like it alot! hope she'll like it too. haha. and a MYUK wallet and pouch which we put them in a box tied up with a nice ribbon. hee. after dat was shopping! went to far east. it's been a long time since i hit town. saw a cute t-shirt and a cardigan. was quite tempted to buy them...but not enough cash with me. next wed i'll go get it! dat's wat i promise myself! must go there before this recess week ends! hahaha...if only i have this kind of determination when i study...oh well...wanted to buy quite a number of stuffs but...need to control my spending. i'm not earning money and buying stuffs for myself using money papa gave me makes me feel abit bad. i mean he's not earning much also. tinking of applying for the teaching aids programme at the east side but tink again...i dun tink i'll have time for myself and for revision if i go help out in the labs in those secondary schools. having one free day is like a gift for me in a week. cos the rest of the 4 days is like hell...except fri. waking up almost everyday at 530am...TT...tired...becoming panda liao...or i should say i already am one...haiz...ugly ugly! so have been really looking forward to this recess week. finally can get some rest and catch up on stuffs i've left behind for the past few weeks. really need to pull up my socks! jiayou!

and actually i wanted to see my webcasts tonite...but ended up slacking away...until now...too tired already. shall leave the webcasts to tmr la...i am so lazy hor...this is bad...need some motivation!!! i go get my sleep first. wahaha!

had a really nice birthday "feast" jus now. specially prepared for me de leh..so touched..well, although it is not a restaurant level of cooking, but it's still edible! hahaha! no la..actually it's really delicious. not bad not bad...i shall look forward to next time ya. hehe...

to bdd: thanks for all the preparations! i noe it's quite a busy day for u so...really thanks! :)

X10's Grand Final is also on 3rd feb 08. of cos, i didnt miss it. i wun wanna miss it too. but this year's production left me feeling disappointed. things started to go wrong right from the beginning of the show. and wat can make things go wrong at the start of the show??? every show needs emcees to start and get the audience settled in. this year the emcees turned out to be so damn lousy! CMI...i guessed most of the audience felt the same way as i did...felt like stuffing chillis into their throat until they cant talk so that someone else can substitute them! i tink the next time we laorens and all the x10 ppl see them in campus, they might die from our STARES! well...it's over anyway so i shall not dwell on it anymore la.

after the show ended at 11+pm, me and shing took a cab to clementi mrt station and managed to catch the last train back to amk at raffles place. shing was so amazed dat we actually were lucky enough to take the last train. it was her first time taking a last train back. lolx! so snapped! photos taken as a memorial for her. wahaha!

gosh...look at my eyes!!! huMONgous eyebags!!! and now i tink my panda eyes are getting worse. have been sleeping late recently...bad bad bad...not enough time!!! alot of things to do!!! but cny is coming!!! and will continue sleeping late again...haha...well done! i shall let it heal after cny...sleep at 10pm everyday!

ended my first week of lessons ytd! wahaha...so basically this week i only went to school twice...mon and thur! heehee...must be thinking i'm damn slack right...wahaha! like now..am slacking at home again..abit no mood to study..cos is a friday. it's the weekend!!! but thinking maybe i'll have some surprise quizzes next week..i think i better revise abit. this sem really stressful during lectures. cos most of the lecturers like to shoot people or give us surprises! although i like surprises..but not this kind can..bleah. so must try very very hard to focus during lectures..but den..usually tend to lose focus..cos dunno wat they talking about..haiz.

hmm...i tink there's a need to balance my life...among all things...

back to school......

school officially started ytd. but this week i only have 2 days of lessons! woohoo! hee...
ytd was a really long day for me. had a lecture at 8am. was late for it becos of stupid traffic jam. ended up i only entered the LT at 830am. not a good start for a new sem in a new year! after that was my first core lecture of the day. quite ok during the first one but in future will feel quite stressed cos the lecturer has a habit of pin-pointing students to answer his questions.i dun wan to be marked down by him lo. quite scary. haha.

after 2hrs of break continued 2 other core lectures all the way until 6pm. the last lecture of the day was really boring. wat made it worse was the lecturer didnt upload the notes on time. so, without notes, it's abit hard to stay focus.i shouldnt say STAY focus cos throughout the lecture i practically wasnt paying attention. ha. really sleepy and hungry and time seemed to pass so slowly...torturous! x_x

BUT i survived the long day! these 2 weeks should be quite okay...cos lab havent start yet. start of labs means having to do lab reports again every week! dread labs...haiz...

i do mind. it disturbed me. yet i chose to avoid it.

sometimes some of the things u did i actually do mind de but it's just that it wouldnt be right for me to tell u not to do it. becos if i've done that it would be really selfish of me. i noe it's out of guilt but who wouldnt mind right? i'm a girl afterall. but this problem lies with me, therefore i tink i should learn to manage with a heart that has wider opening. ha. and please bear in mind that i'm not saying wat u are doing is wrong or wat k.

不知道为什么会感到不安。一直对自己说不能想太多。我没有想很多，只是有点怕。因为__真的太恐怖了。所以我的多心也算是难免的吧。我内心真的有一种不祥的预感。从来都没有这种感受过，这表示什么呢？也许是我很在乎吧。现在只能忍耐着等事情平复咯。。慢慢来吧。。我是很有耐心的人。哈哈。

Changi Airport

sent kane off to the airport. he's gg to sweden for SEP. my second time to changi airport. the first time was when i was like 7 or 8yrs old? so i dun really remember how changi airport is like actually.haha!was really excited!

was waiting for the cab which took like more than 30min to reach...-_-

随便你吧。因为我觉得我也不会很喜欢你，所以你应该感到庆幸我们不认识彼此，现在不认识。。。以后也不会想认识。你凭什么说那句话，你凭什么那样想？你肯本不认识我，不了解，更不懂事情的真相，所以你没有资格贬低我！你说那句话令我对你感到很反感，对你超级不爽的！只可惜我就是那种只能在这里发泄情绪的人，面对面交谈不是我的作风。真的非常的不爽！我的生气比难过多上很多倍吧。对自己有这种情绪也感到很恶心。如果你喜欢的人跟你说不能够在一起，你为什么不试着去体谅那个人的心情呢？为什么要做到大家都不好受？还搞到忧郁。我的妈啊。。。很夸张你知不知道！这种情形应该只能在电视剧里看到吧！喜欢一个人不是要希望他得到幸福吗？也许你的心胸太狭窄了吧。我不知道。换成是我应该不会去勉强。。而是默默的放弃吧。因为勉强是没有幸福的！

那些在读着我的部落各的朋友们请不要胡思乱想。因为事情真的很复杂，所以我不想详细地说明。而这件事我又是那个很无辜的第三者。很不喜欢被人认为自己是第三者。因为第三者听起来好像是那种破坏别人美满幸福的家伙。唉！

回味

今天下午太无聊了所以就打开了XQRJ去年的GRAND FINAL VIDEO来看。真的是回味无穷。听到第四首歌的时候，看到了ｏｋｓ与ｘｉａｈｅ的ｍｖ。一看到光翔的脸我就忍不住地大笑了！哈哈！不好意思哦光翔．．．嘿嘿！虽然已过了那么久，但在此重看去年的ｖｉｄｅｏ真的有好多好多的感觉哦。还是很喜欢［雨夜］这首歌！不是因为它的作词人的关系哦（因为那时觉得他还蛮帅的。哈哈！），只因为真的好好听！还有还有［最后的告白］！它的ｍｖ也好好笑，因为有ｅｎｇｓｅｎｇ的"没有力"动作！哈哈哈！

想当初我在后台好紧张，当台前大家在观看时，我们在后头却是一片混乱，很多事同时的在发生。一个很好及难忘的经验！很期待着今年的演出！而且今年的ｆｉｎａｌ是在２月３日哦（＊ｈｉｎｔ＊）！７ｐｍ　ＮＵＳ　ＵＣＣ！我相信今年的演出会更精彩的！所以朋友们谁有兴趣要去看的话可以跟我说一声。票是＄１２一张。

又遇到一件让我蛮烦恼的事。一直问自己为什么...为什么是我呢??已经明显到我不可能假装不知道了...唉!我也不知道该怎么说才好.不想为这种事而烦恼..因为觉得自己的心都还没有复合...

Labrador Nature Reserve with wuhong,teopeng and pikwei.hot weather today but still...FUN! i tink we walked the whole park today in 3hours! haha...

After dat went to vivocity for lunch at HK Kim Gary. nice baked rice! eat until super full. didnt even have dinner jus now at bugis when i met up with jenjen and pL. haha.

yes. left harbourfront with wh and tp to meet the girls at bugis. was feeling really tired cos slept quite late ytd and woke up at 8+ this morning. anyway we shopped the whole of bugis street i tink. BUT me and jen didnt manage to buy anything -___- i guess i'll be going again sooon.

p.s. thanks for the breakfast. it's really sweet (:

明天就要开始bid modules了。我还没想好electives到底要拿什么......好烦啊!!!刚才在CORS website逗留了一下，看来看去，我有兴趣的却跟我的core modules timetable clash,不然就是考试时间clash,不然就是一天考两科（如果我要选那个mod的话啦）!我不要一天考两科，因为知道自己会应付不来。除非是逼不得已的情况啦。唉!气死我了!而且有一些modules不是你bid就保证你拿到的咯。还需要看你用够分吗。真是烦人! 什么烂system...读书都已经够烦了还set up这个东东! 鸡蛋糕...!
